Keshet Workshop and Panel, hosted by JProNY

Description

Gender is everywhere, impacting the way we structure our communities, navigate the world, and relate to one another. Our own communities are no exception. In this interactive session, participants will have the opportunity to unpack the ways in which they relate to their own gender, as well as reflect upon gender’s role in society. We will then establish a shared understanding of the concepts related to LGBTQ inclusion, concluding with practical, concrete strategies that organizations and individuals can implement to insure that their communities are warm welcoming, and inclusive of all individuals, regardless of gender identity and sexual orientation.

Hosted by JProNY the week of Trans Day of Visibility (TDOV), in partnership with UJA-Federation of NY and Keshet, and sponsored by The Jim Joseph Foundation. For more information about TDOV, click here to read more: https://www.hrc.org/resources/international-transgender-day-of-visibility
